The fact we could have 3 or maybe 4 out Kane, Foden, Grealish, Rashford, Greenwood, Sterling and Sancho all on the pitch at the same time thoroughly excites me. With the excellent Mason Mount in midfield.
 
It was interesting watching MNF with Carra & Neville discuss this.

I think Neville is right about our lineup with regards to the Maguire injury. If Maguire isn't fit to play, then I don't see Southgate playing a back 4, I don't think he'd trust us defensively, therefore, he'd probably go with a 5-4-1.

If Maguire is fit, then he may go 4-3-3.
 
I think the seemingly universal criticism of Southgate is a bit harsh. We did have a period during the last Nations League games when we were inexplicably negative but apart from that England have been more attack minded, entertaining and trusting in young players than the vast majority of England sides I've been watching since the mid 80s.
