England v USA

Tend to agree, Sterling is invisible. Whole MF is off the pace. I thought were flattering against Iran, and that this game would highlight our many deficiencies.

Plenty of talent on the sidelines mind.

I don't think Trippier is playing particularly well.
He’s not he’s been poor though I think Saka is partly to blame as he keeps leaving him
Isolated when we don’t have the ball and not running into or creating space when we do, Sterling is doing the same with Shaw.

There's a big difference between being patient and playing at a snails pace. We need to up the intensity, we're playing into their hands.

Half time can’t come quick enough…they look like scoring each attack.

we need to get the ball on the floor and run at them…scare them into sitting deeper.

We need a change at half time but I doubt Southgate will do anything until we either go behind or it gets to about 20mins into the second half. He’s too reluctant to make a positive change when we’re struggling under pressure, it’s like he sees the need for attacking subs as an admission his starting line up isn’t working.

Phew, we made it through to half time.

Remember a lot of the USA players aren't used to playing 90 mins for their clubs so we should get a bit more space to play in 2nd half.

Mount and Saka off with Foden and Grealish on is what I'd do.
