England v Italy match thread

Still room for improvement, which is encouraging, hopefully we've got our left backs fit next year.

Top seeds for the summer as well.

The Southgate-out brigade will still be flooding to TalkSport after the match saying it’s only a rubbish Italian team.
I love how calm and comfortable the team have looked for years now - for years english teams looked like 11 players that had not practiced much together.

It's the opposite now - they all know their roles - and whether you like it or not - there is a stable style of patience and possesion with short sharp attacks when there is opportunity.

Well that was enjoyable.

Foden, Kane and Bellingham were top. Great goal from Rashford.

Pickford did well when he had too. Minutes in the legs for Phillips who struggled at times. Need to get some left backs fit soon and there’s still a couple of spots up for grabs.

Saka still walks in the team in my opinion.

yeah it’s harsh on him but I’d probably drop Rashford for Saka. Front 3 of Kane, Foden and Saka, with Bellingham in the hole isn’t too shabby!
