Is this £4500 based on usage as the price cap kicks in?My joint fuel bill was £120 last month. BG emailed to tell me my annual bill will be £4500. Either they are extremely poor at maths, or they are trying to get an unnecessarily high DD out of me.
Interesting point - shows economic times have changed a bit.Sadly, this is the 2022 version of “how much did your watch cost” threads
I'll be turning the boiler temperature down to see if I can get it to its sweet point with full condensation of the flue water vapour while still not freezing my nuts off. I have probably had it running too hot previously.Radiator TRV settings if anyone isn't aware. If temp reaches that point the rad shuts off. Lot of people just think 5 makes it hot or 1 is a low power but it's quite controlled

I don't know why I never questioned it but I was always told that the numbers on it weren't calibrated well so you have to figure each one out yourself. 5 and 0 are obviously on/off and anything in between could be anything.Radiator TRV settings if anyone isn't aware. I’ve often wondered how accurate these can be as the valve is on the side of the radiators.Radiator TRV settings if anyone isn't aware. If temp reaches that point the rad shuts off. Lot of people just think 5 makes it hot or 1 is a low power but it's quite controlled
