Superb series - brilliantly written and acted.
Clever and rather good. Bit puzzled about the meaning of the gunshot in the chuchyard though? The two Jags…spot on!
One bullet - Russian roulette Mutley is how I saw it. He survived.Clever and rather good. Bit puzzled about the meaning of the gunshot in the chuchyard though?
Death of "Endeavour" / birth of "Morse"?
Good series though.
Recently watched the Morse series again in total. Just superb and doesn’t date. There is an air of melancholy that runs throughout that I didn’t appreciate until this watching. Note the episode filmed in Australia particularly the ending of that episode. It kind of sums up for me the sadness in Morse’s life.I will miss it - need my Morse fix - I might watch them all again loco - they are so good!
That’s how I saw it as well. One bullet - Russian roulette Mutley is how I saw it. He survived.
But if you "survive" Russian Roulette there is a "click" not a "bang"?That’s how I saw it as well.
I saw it that he pulled the gun away at the last minute. Clearly he survives. It was perhaps the most clunky moment of a pretty faultless episode. But if you "survive" Russian Roulette there is a "click" not a "bang"?
Yes and I think Endeavour is a fitting prequel with the backstory to his melancholy in Morse And also his frustration with lifeRecently watched the Morse series again in total.
