Thoroughly deserved Jonny Howson winning Players Player.
Michael Carrick described him today as being like a 31 year old rather than a 36 year old so there could be a few miles left in him yet.

Looks like McGree's missing, but he was in Australia last week so he might well be taking an early holiday with his surgery.

There's a decent number missing from the look of that photo, so I'm not sure if you can read anything in to it.

Really enjoyable night. Great to watch all the highlights again in the company of a Town Hall full of Boro fans.
Compered with Boro passion from Gary Philipson it was like being in one big FanZone.
Great that Yusuf was brought up on to the stage and presented with his own Boro shirt. One of our own. Talking of which. How good to welcome George Friend back once again.
I look forward to this night becoming itself a season highlight for fans and players alike.

He is a really humble chap Jonny Howson. When interviewed a couple of months back by reporters when one of them complemented his play Jonny took a gulp and a few moments before replying that the positive comment meant a lot. He was a little emotional.
Michael Carrick said yesterday that Howson was more like a 31 yr old than 36 and he would not be waving goodbye to us on Saturday ie He will be back next season.
