I don’t believe you can on Instagram unless your account is set to private.

However, people shouldn’t have to do that, I’m sure she gets loads of nice messages from fans so it would be unfair for her to have to stop that as a result of weirdos sending d*ck pics.
 
I find it strange that people in the public eye make it so easy for people to directly contact and interact with them through social media.

Seriously though it's disgusting people do this and people saying "she should do this, she shouldn't do this" are missing the point.
We shouldn't be focused on teaching women how to protect themselves, we should be focusing on teaching boys and men that women aren't pieces of meat to impose unwanted sexual advances on.

Well I suppose that doesn't come without a sacrifice though. Sure, people like us might think not being on Instagram isn't the end of the world but to a millenial celebrity it is probably a bigger deal in terms of earnings etc.

I actually think boys and men are taught this already. What blows my mind is the amount of deviants who still do it anyway without consequence. All these middle aged guys sending stuff to 12 year olds are well aware that they're in the wrong, but obviously just think they won't get caught so why stop?

It's a bit of both, there are undoubtedly sad perverts who do it because they're bad people basically, but our whole culture seems to be based on the idea that all women are purely there for men's sexual gratification. From the saturation of scantily clad female celebrities in "respectable" online papers like the mail, to millions of young men idolising misogynist cretins like Andrew Tate, it all feels a bit grim.

Hmm I dunno. Look at Magic Mike, women are interested in sex too. But that doesn’t mean they want sexual content sent to their phones from random strangers.

I don’t know what the solution is but it blows my mind how many weirdos are out there. I mean when you walk around day to day most people just seem fairly normal don’t they?

I go to conferences sometimes and there’ll be a large amount of middle aged men. I don’t come out of them thinking “I bet a sizeable chunk of them will be sending pics of their cocks to random 12 year olds on Instagram tonight.”
