Speaking to a Preston supporter at work yesterday and he said Villa want to sell Archer, no loan. Preston wanted to take him on a season long loan, Villa rebuffed it.......and silly money wanted apparently 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
 
I'd definitely take a 500k punt on him. 21 years old, experience in league 1 and the SPL... I'd much rather take a few 500k-1m players than blow the budget on a 15m striker who doesn't do the job (Britt).

Yes, get him and that 20 year old lad from Ipswich Tyreece Simpson, whose also avail for about 250-500k.

Two players who can back up a big name striker now and improve over the next 3-5 years.

Gives Wilder a few options to throw 3-4 subs on second half.

Yeah, you mentioned Deniz Undav earlier this year too. Thought he (Simms) would go elsewhere for game time tbh (which he did) £500k would be a great buy even with the inflated wages. I still have to disagree on Cole Stockton tho..
 
Low risk punt to add an option. It’s not like we would be bringing him in as our main striker, maybe not even as option 2, so seems little to lose on this one.
