Eff You International Football! .....

... Domestic football is back thank god.

I'm even looking forward to a freezing, windy, soaking Riverside tomorrow now.

Could be a potential banana skin tomorrow, new manager bounce and all that sh*t - fingers crossed we hit the ground running, we need a quick intense start, and get a real foothold in the game early doors.

A passive start will only encourage them and the decent amount of away fans coming.

The question is do you keep it as was against he mackems? Doesnt sound like McGree will make it, but potentially Rav is close? I assume McNair is back ok from internationals, not heard anything.

Anyway to summarise, international football is awful, and up the boro.

Our game against Australia was pretty rubbish, and a bit pointless. Fulfilling a FIFA obligation I believe.

The game against Italy was good though IMO. (I went to both ) - First time we'd beaten Italy at home since 1977... although to be fair there's only been about six attempts).

As it’s the first game back in a few weeks, I fancy a good scoop but I’m off to Sedgefield races on Sunday with a couple of the lads.

Conundrum. Try to avoid two days on the bounce with booze these days. Maybe I’ll do it for old times sake.

Football wise though, can’t wait to get back! Hoping to continue where we left off.

Second day drunkness at the races - sounds perfect.

Let your hair down son, you deserve it.

I turned off the Oz game, but thoroughly enjoyed the Italy game (went to neither!)

But both were an unwanted distraction from the Michael Carrick Promotion Locomotion.
I don't disagree with you. I prefer the league... and I miss all the domestic fixtures at a weekend when it's the international break. (I probably watch more football on Sky at the weekend than I should do. I'm a bit disappointed by the fixtures this Sunday though. Only one PL game on Sky, and two women's matches... as well as Bundesliga).

You mean you arent looking forward to El Caretico, the Claret derby, on sunday?

Yes, I'm quite looking forward to that, as I think they both look alright this season. I'd like another PL game on too though. There's usually two or three PL fixtures on Sky on a Sunday. (Man City v Brighton on the Sunday might have been good).

Yeh the United/Brighton game squeezed in at 8pm Saturday (assume because of Europe next week) kind of scuppers the normal Sunday schedule!

Oi - Who's bloody edited my title! 😂

The original title sounded dead cool and hard....., now "Eff" makes me sound like a right wally

International breaks proper disrupt my routine, and there’s another one coming up next month 🙄

What minute will we see a pitch invader run up to Rooney for a selfie tomorrow?

The worst thing about international football breaks is not the matches themselves but two solid weeks of media angst about nothing stories.

Maguire said fans shouldn't boo

What next for Aaron Ramsdale?

WHY WON'T SOUTHGATE PLAY MY FAVOURITE UNITED/CITY/ARSENAL PLAYER?

Who actually cares?

You're dead right... Sky Sports writing articles about Blackburn's groundsman to fill in space on the site etc
