Eating in Newcastle...

Unbelievable food.
We went to the one over in Darlo and weren't that impressed with it. We love Rodizio, but didn't find it as good as Fazenda for example, although thats a chain too - but the cuts seemed a lot higher quality at Fazenda than Estabulo.

Think it depends on location mate, ive had the one in Leeds and it was spot on. The darlo one was average. Love fazenda also!

Bridge tavern on the quayside and the city tavern up the haymarket are our 2 faves for Sunday dining
Another shout for the Bridge Tavern. It's basically directly beneath the Tyne Bridge and I was there 2 weeks ago and the food was excellent. £5.50 for a pint of Amstel mind

I don't mean to hijack the thread but if you could recommend places to eat and drink in Leeds I'd appreciate it; preferably near the 02 Academy.
I'm open to anything really. Would be happy with pub grub if it's somewhere that does it to a high standard.

Not been there Central, will give it a try. Leeds places:

Tharavadu is another Keralan curry place that’s excellent.
Bundobust on the same street, it’s vegetarian Indian street food and it’s great. They do good beers too.
Meat Liquor do decent burgers, OTT American style.
Rudy’s pizza near the station is meant to be good, but I’ve not been myself.
Fuji Hiro near the arena is a small japanese place that I used to love, they do a very good chilli beef ramen.
Town Hall Tavern is the only pub grub place I can think I’ve been to in the city centre - its decent enough.
