Having the Outlaws over on Sat, My wife’s dad’s an Ipswich so plan on watching the game together

I normally watch through the app using a VPN, as his eyesight isn’t great, I was wondering the easiest way to get it on my TV, or Xbox?

The TV is old by today’s standards so was hoping there may be a way on the Xbox. I do have the Apple TV app on both the tele and the Xbox, could I mirror this way? Or is there a mirroring app that I could get for the Xbox?

Cheers in advance

It’s official MFC app that I pay £140 a year for. I use a VPN to watch as I’m not overseas.

Using an iPad Air

Assuming the iPad you use has a USB C port, this might be the best way to do it.

That goes into your iPad and then connect a hdmi cable into that and your tv.

There are other versions that was just the first one I saw on amazon and it’s amazon choice product.

Does the TV have Apple AirPlay capability - probably good for folk to know what model TV it is if possible so they can see if there are options? If no Apple AirPlay what is the connector on the iPad Air - USB C or Apple's Lightening port?

When I had an Xbox and an old telly I used screen mirroring. Downloaded some sort of app for the Xbox I think. The only thing I really remember is that I found it a hassle and didn't bother doing it again and just watched it on my laptop.

I used to love it when i had a Samsung TV smart view worked a treat to watch content from my phone
