Nothing guaranteed in football but with any luck we should turn these over. No manager 3rd bottom of the division and bottom of the form table. We need to win with WBA level and Blackburn, Millwall and Norwich not far behind. Three tough games after this one.

I agree, we really do need to be winning this one.

Kick off early in the Silver Cod, see you there for the Christmas claret fest.
Normally stop over in the Kingston Theatre Hotel when in Hull, it was regular trip at one point. Normally had a drink in the Old English Gentleman, it was the the favourite of the Architect from London but the Hull boys didnt mind going there after work. Went in the New Clarence once or twice, enjoyed the landlords music choice on his PA, the beer was OK and quite a choice. Really odd pub mind, one night there was a bunch of Camel coloured crombi clad old -ish guys who suddenly burst into song unaccompanied- they were incredible (must have been on the Theatre). Its shut now as went passed it last week.

Hull people tend to put their town down a lot imho and dislike being called Humbersiders in my experience, I quite like the area, and have been reading about its history ( I know one of the historians who works for the HDM. I think the people should be known as Kingstonians not cod heads.

I plan to stop down in the new year, I've been to Ferens Art Gallery🫥enjoyed it and want to go to a few other museums there. The Mick Ronson Memorial is getting a upgrade of some sort shortly by all accounts.

I`ll give the Tigers a polite clap for you as they leave the field on Saturday well beaten.

I have zero faith in Boro at home at the minute, anything could happen. I'd be more shocked if we had a comfortable win.
Id drop Brynn and play with an extra forward, in fact play Brynn upfront and put an old coke tin between the sticks. I can just see Mr Carrick post game " I thought tin did well tbh, wasnt troubled much and a clean sheet"

I lived and worked down there for over a year - splitting my time between Patrington and Withernsea. Had a great time - I found the people to be quite similar to Teessiders, good laugh and didn’t take themselves too seriously. Not many city fans about like - they were either rugby fans or supported the red scousers or Mancs

I lived in East Hull for about 5 years. Awful.

However, the people I met were lovely, the music scene is thriving, the marina and old town are cool, plenty of good food places and I really like chip spice.

Hell yeah I forgot about chippy spice 🤤
Prinny Ave was the place to be ten years ago - I’ve heard the Marina has picked up a bit recently

Oh yes Prinny ave and Newlands ave were favourites too. Loved the Adelphi.

Hopefully Roots is still going too.

Have you seen the Memorial Plaque at Boyes Holderness road Which was the Old Savoy Cinema.
My Dad 10 at the time and my Granddad were at the pictures and left slightly early, and were heading down the road when they put the entrance lights on for every body leaving attracting the aircrafts attention. It strafed the street. My Granddad pushed my dad over a wall for cover. When telling my daughter this story a couple of years back, he said I can still hear them screaming. I had not hear him say this before.
