Early Bird Season Ticket Prices Announced

Only when they're showing a film, you can go to the Riverside as many times as you want with your season ticket whilst they're playing a match (obviously not including cup games)

I could go to the cinema every single day if I wanted.

I can only go to the Riverside with my season card 23 times a season at a scheduled time.

You can only go when they're showing a film, it just so happens they're showing more films than there are football matches but then the prices aren't the same, nor are the prices of the alternatives.

Going the match is a habit. The club know that if a ST holder decides to take a year off and just go to some walk-ups, they may never come back full time. They estimate that the two-tier pricing will cost them less through losing frustrated newbies than they'll make from retaining oldies.

Let's not dress it up as "rewarding loyalty". It's a cold hard business decision.

Just like every other loyalty scheme then.

What would you expect? And it's not a discount its a penalty on being a new customer. It's even dafter than that, included in the price for a number if season ticket holders is a drink, so it's a double penalty. Children can have a season ticket for 10 years and when they are 18 they still won't get the drink.
I assumed they would.
They get the 75 loyalty points

will thhey discount based on the games we couldnt go to at the end of the season Covid began - I have lost track of years but I know you could apply for a refund but I never did so wonder if that money is still in my name somewhere?

It is, if you go and buy a ticket you should see your account in credit.

Never mind the boro early bird scheme

I still can’t get over same as before going to the same curry house for 15 years and not getting a discount.

What not even free poppadoms

have you upset him or something ???

This what people don’t grasp or appreciate is that we have “paid for the that discount” already through years of putting money into the club and long before the season ends as well with no idea what division we will be even in

so that’s where the war chest comes from.
Completely agree with that but the club should be doing everything to encourage new fans, that price for a season ticket is beyond what most could afford and will just put people off

Not quite. At the start of the season they were charging tickets against any credit you had, but when I went to buy a QPR ticket that wasn't an option. So I enquired why and it was because there was a problem with the software and I would need to contact the ticket office to use my credit, which in my case is substantial as I became a wrinkly in the last close season and had already paid the full price for last season's ticket.
