Although I understand MFC need an income in the short term. I think envoking the current early bird deadline could be counter productive.

As folk are been laid off or on SSP they won't want to shell out on a season ticket, then as things return to normal they'll have missed the early bird deadline and may not want to pay the increased amount.

An extended deadline would give people the time to return to work and get their finances in order so they can commit to a season ticket and maintain their discounted price.

I honestly believe this would lead to more season ticket holders next year.
 
I was already reluctant to fork out nearly 500 pound before all this kicked off but I knew I would give in and buy one, but your right, the club need to do something because I can use that 500 pound in better ways at the moment. One thing I will promise is that I will not be paying over 500 pound if the deadline e is not extended.
 
They need to just put it on hold. We still have this season to finish (although I don’t think we’ll get to go to any of the remaining games) and until we know what’s going on it’s impossible for people to fork out now.

Hopefully the club will see sense and something will be announced, especially after this weeks meetings and there is more of an idea of what’s happening with football.
 
I think this will go out of most people’s heads anyway with what’s going on, much bigger fish to fry so to speak, so if the club don’t extend, I can’t see many people renewing at all, as people wouldn’t want to pay the additional amount.....
