What a cracking day even though i had to miss SPIRITS OF SATURN and MAD ONES due to it running a bit late and our shocking transport system. Last train back to Redcar was 22:10.

Enjoyed all the acts WITHERED HAND AND KATHRYN WILLIAMS (plus their two impromptu solo sets), SHOTGUN JIMMIE who I did not know before. Brought a huge smile to everyone's face. ARIEL SHARRATT AND MATHIAS KOM OF THE BURNING HELL nothing I can say except they were brilliant as always. GONE TOMORROW just keep improving every time I see them. DRESSED LIKE WOLVES new direction looks really good judging by the newer tracks played. Loved the stripped down ABEL RAISE THE CAIN set, FRAZER LAMBERT was new to me but a great start to the day and JODIE NICHOLSON played a really nice solo set in the back of The Waiting Room.

The Kimchi Hotshot pizza was terrific as well.

Big thanks to all the organisers and staff and all the fantastic artists who played. Lest hope its back again next year instead of the two since the last one.
 
Just a quick word on the Preston and Eaglescliffe Social Club. Its a great venue and surprised that local promoters don't use it. The club as I understand it is struggling(like most clubs in the area). It would be ideal for gigs that start a little earlier and finish in time for folks to catch the last trains in either direction. It is yards from the station, there is a taxi rank even closer.
It would be brilliant for those early even shows TKASG used to put on at The Westgarth but is a lot bigger venue than the old downstairs room. That could be a blessing in that bigger bands could be booked.
 
We left before the Mad Ones set due to being knackered by then. A really good day out and as you say the Social Club should definitely be used for more gigs. It's a gem
 
A brilliant day out! We had to leave early due to Weller, but wish we had stayed. P and E is a cracking venue and ideally placed for gigs.

They also hire it out for band video shoots too which I was a part of a couple of weeks back.
