You may not like his later stuff Sheriff, as is your right, but you are being a little lazy with your analysis.
His last six studio albums - Time Out Of Mind, Love And Theft, Modern Times, Together Through LIfe, Tempest and Rough and Rowdy Ways -
contain 63 songs and you will be lucky to find a dozen 12 bar blues among them. The least impressive of those albums (in my opinion) Together Through LIfe, contains five of them.
