If we hadn’t had the two world wars I’m sure the whole world would be a far better place. But who knows politicians just do the most stupidest things and rarely have the interests of voters in hand after they’ve been elected.It's the other one (the John Mills one)

I think the Kaiser and his warmongering cohorts had a lot to do with it. Not forgetting the peace loving British P.M who came back with a piece of paper hoping to avoid the inevitable.
