I've never been. Any suggestions of what to do when I'm there?
Going for 4 Nights in march.
Also what's best option of getting from airport to city centre ???

Guinness factory tour. Best pint of Guinness in the bar at the top.

Probably avoid Temple Bar - extortionate drinking costs, but plenty of Irish music.

I just got the bus from the airport when I went a couple of years ago. Just a couple of Euros and stopped very close to the hotel I stayed at near O'Connell Street.

I'm going in March too to see Judas Priest (I know, I know) and have been a few times before.

There is a return shuttle bus from the airport to the city centre that was €9 I think.

As mentioned above Temple Bar is expensive and touristy but I actually quite like it there. Go a little further afield for cheaper beer of course and make sure you pay homage to the Phil Lynott statue naturally.

As said above Temple Bar is expensive but so is everywhere. There’s lots of great pubs and restaurants everywhere and lots of live music in many of them. As a big Thin Lizzy fan i always pay a visit to Bruxelles bar where Phil Lynott used to hang out and his statue is situated right outside the bar. Enjoy !

Fair play, I've always wanted to go but never been my no1 choice, always been put off by other people. Glad the Mrs has finally booked it cause I wouldn't of ever went otherwise.
I'm going in with a hopeful mindset more than excited .

Loads of different buses to/from the airport. The normal 41 Dublin bus is only €2.20 and takes about 35 mins or you can get a Leap visitor card which is Dublin’s Oyster card. €20 for 72 hours travel soon as you swipe it on the bus.

Temple bar is part and parcel of it IMO. Yeah its touristy and and expensive but if you're on the lash you're going to spend time there and it's a good laugh.

Re Dublin or Cork. Dublin is great albeit expensive - as Tony Mowbray would say it is what it is. Lots of good food options as well. Cork is also brilliant
