I've googled this and can't find any reference to either (time to put my tin foil hat on).

The only thing I can find on Sunak's brother is that he's a consultant?

Amazing that the Police have evidence of a crime but rather than investigate, they hand it over to a Civil Servant who is appointed by Johnson, who is only finding out facts, will hand the report to Johnson & Johnson decides what is published and what punishment he should receive for the crime.

One wonders why they didn't just investigate it themselves.

Simply because they provided security for the parties. They were complicit.
