Well, in the end, the test will be which gets the most from their posturing. I am 90% certain it will be Starmer. You might gather from my comments about Europeans being pussies for80 years. that, I do not necessarily think this is a good thing. But it’s a true thing.

The Chinese are loosely at least aligned to Russia at present. And if our fight for Ukraine has a meaning it is on the basis that we are fighting for democracy. We do not ally ourselves to the country that has been a genocidal dictatorship for 60 years just because we are ***ed off with the democracy that has produced a dodgy leader once.

We need trump to come for a state visit as I think millions would come out in protest against him. I would gladly do what a couple of people have failed to do and I'd do it to Vance as well. Boycott anything American. I've re-activated my twitter so I can tell McDonald's Starbucks etc that they won't receive a penny from me while he remains president. I'm gonna ditch the lot twitter Facebook (is Pinterest American - nooooo) Google. Fu ck them all, their only interest is money, it's about time the world turns the tables on them, it's the only thing they respect.

I agree, it’s time that ordinary people in the street realised that people like Trump, Musk and co are driven purely by self interest.
 
Trump has sold us down the river here. Starmer has gone over and being very nice, Trump returns the favour and promises all sorts. Then he humiliates Z on live TV - this giving Starmer a BIG problem:

- Stand up to Trump, support Ukraine and lose the trade deal & get tariffs
- Stick up for the US deal and be Trumps bitch and get the rewards

I feel we must tell the US to shove it, no matter the cost. We need to stick with Ukraine. F Trump and F Russia.

This is the impression I got. Trump was treating it like an episode of The Apprentice where he tells the contestants to stop bickering while he makes a decision.

I'm not entirely convinced that he didn't actually think that that's what was happening...
