It's also pretty incredible how many Republican senators still support Trump. They are guilty by association.

At least the Illinois Republican is Tweeting that this is basically an attempted coup.
 
Mike Pence has tweeted for protestors to leave the building. The amount of replies saying his letter caused this and he has the power to stop it and “save lives” by reversing the election is unbelievable.
 
KKK flags and people actually carrying pitchforks. Most of Trumps band of idiots seem to be wearing face masks now for some reason. A lot of them will have knobbed each other with Covid and will be watching the Biden inauguration from their deathbed. I hope they have good insurance and don't need to call on Obama-care.

I must admit I was expecting a lot more shooting. Hopefully my expectations will prove to be wrong.

Most of the reports I've seen describe them as "medical emergencies." The web page for the Lexington Medical Center Emergency Department gives a number of examples, as follows:

  • Chest pain accompanied by sweating, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, radiating pain that moves to the arm or neck, dizziness, or feeling that your heart is beating irregularly or too fast

  • Severe bleeding that doesn't stop after 15 minutes of direct pressure
  • Fainting
  • Broken or displaced bones

  • Suddenly not being able to walk, speak, or move a portion of your body
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing

Of those, I would imagine the first set of symptoms (indicating a heart attack) is the thing that was most likely to have occurred here.
