Donald Trump - another irrelevance if he becomes president

Trump ahead in polls in 6 of the 7 States that are likely to determine where Presidency goes. Tied in the other one. Biden has a lot of ground to make up. Tough to do that fighting fairly and telling the truth.

Arizona court just decided to ban abortion almost completely. Surely that swings things for Biden
And not just almost completely, it's also the re-implementation of a law passed in 1864 before Arizona was even a state. No exceptions for rape or incest, nor even the health of the mother, short of an actual risk of death.

Under this law, doctors performing abortions could be imprisoned for 2-5 years. Even women taking medicine to induce a miscarriage by themselves (56% of abortions in the US are medication-induced) could potentially be prosecuted since this law applies to any person who administers a drug to a pregnant woman thereby causing her to miscarry.

I'm not convinced it would have much of an impact on Trump's supporters. They seem to support him due to the reaction he/it creates in other people rather than what he stands for aligns with their views.

To paraphrase DT not a single legal scholar in the world thinks the case against him as any foundation 😆.

He just has a different standard of BS now and no one bothers to challenge it.

The daft get actually admitted outside the court that all he did was "paid a lawyer, legal expenses".
He's toast.

Yes, he said, "I paid ....," before remembering that he wasn't supposed to admit that and tried to change it to, "An accountant paid ...," to match the story that his defence have been trying to peddle, that he didn't know the payments were being made, or what they were all about.

Just as with the E. Jean Carroll case where he got sued a second time because he couldn't stop himself from repeating the same defamatory statements outside court after the first judgement, he just hasn't got enough self-control to avoid opening his big mouth and implicating himself in this case either.

Just in the last couple of post we have seen irrefutable evidence of the following traits off the psychopath checklist

  • Item 1: Glibness/superficial charm
  • Item 2: Grandiose sense of self-worth
  • Item 3: Need for stimulation/proneness to boredom
  • Item 4: Pathological lying - I didn't have an affair and I didn't make payments to Stormy regardless what Cohen has admitted and served time for
  • Item 5: Conning/manipulative
  • Item 6: Lack of remorse or guilt - always someone elses fault because he didn't do anything, it's a witch hunt
  • Item 7: Shallow affect
  • Item 8: Callous/lack of empathy
  • Item 9: Parasitic lifestyle
  • Item 10: Poor behavioral controls - behaviour in court the last couple of days
  • Item 11: Promiscuous sexual behavior - Stormy
  • Item 12: Early behavior problems
  • Item 13: Lack of realistic long-term goals
  • Item 14: Impulsivity - can't keep his mouth shut and impulsively blurts out incriminating comments
  • Item 15: Irresponsibility
  • Item 16: Failure to accept responsibility for own actions - can't admit that he made the payments
  • Item 17: Many short-term marital relationships - Stormy and E Jean Carroll
  • Item 18: Juvenile delinquency
  • Item 19: Revocation of conditional release
  • Item 20: Criminal versatility

I stand by my comments before he ever came to power, he's as obvious a psychopath as it's possible to be and a very dangerous one when cornered (see Jan 6th).

I have to say, Jury selection has been hilarious so far. Trump forced to sit in silence as unflattering memes about him posted on social media by potential jurors are shown to him and there is absolutely nothing he can do about it.

The even better thing? This exact same process will happen in his other criminal trials 😂
