Donald Trump - another irrelevance if he becomes president

During his recent speech, Trump said that Biden was allowing “millions of people from places unknown” to cross the border illegally. He keyed on those who speak the language of their country of origin. “We have languages coming into our country, nobody that speaks those languages,”
And the most insular 'developed' nation on earth will believe it.
Because they're fkwits

Biden is a much, much better debater than Trump.

All Trump can do is spout lies, he literally has no idea about anything to do with policy.
Unfortunately, it's not what you say, it's how you say it

Trump comes across as powerful; lies or no lies. And that's what many Americans want more than anything else; a powerful leader.

Unfortunately for them, and the rest of the world, for the American voter, image & power mean more than the truth.

Still my favourite of his is the letter to the paper from his secretary.

“Based on the fact that I work for Donald Trump as his secretary—and therefore know him well—I think he treats women with great respect, contrary to what Julie Baumgold implied in her article … I do not believe any man in America gets more calls from women wanting to see him, meet him, or go out with him. The most beautiful women, the most successful women—all women love Donald Trump.”

How could any woman resist being "grabbed by the pussy"?

From what I’ve seen Biden can hardly string a sentence together in speeches etc.

Didn’t he not debate last election? I know it was due to Covid

Wipe the floor in a debate ?

I think quite the opposite, I’m amazed Biden can run for presidency
There's an American physician John Gartner who is supposedly a specialist in this area - he's described Biden's brain as 'ageing' and Trump's brain as 'dementing '.

A man learns to play Poker. He becomes decent at it and wins a few games.

He then starts to plateau.

He goes to his father and says "Dad, I need to put more time in so I can become a better player".

His father replies "You don't need to do that, you just need to find a weaker game".

For Trump Biden is that weaker game, which is why he will win.

I’m sure there’s plenty of specialist physicians with contradictory views. Does this specialist have access to brains scans on both men to give an expert opinion? Or is it a headline the democrat media shove down peoples throats?

I’m not a trump supporter btw nor am I Biden at all.
If it was up to me JFK jr would win the election but that’s not a possibility sadly.

This is the exactly kind of balance that is required for a democracy to work; information from both sides so voters can make an informed judgement.

However, it's usually the side that shouts loudest, and has the most money to promote their agenda and buy TV minutes & ads that usually wins. This is especially so in somewhere like the US.

Hence Trump going from strength to strength

He's a psychologist and former professor at John's Hopkins. Quoting from the article:

Gartner said Trump showed signs of "Phonemic paraphasias," when a patient substitutes non-words for words that sound similar. According to the doctor, these "are not normally seen until a patient enters the moderate to severe stages of Alzheimer’s."

So, I don't know as I'm not a doctor, but the clinical psychologist guy sees a problem (don't know what his political allegiance is). Then there's Trump's incessant blather about "aceing" his cognitive impairment tests. Perhaps he doth protest too much.

Definitely.

Most elections will be won now via social media in my opinion. Whatever candidate tech companies favour, will be elected, a lot can be easily Manipulated via algorithms

God knows why the most powerful country on earth has two men the age they are (and will be in 4 years) running for presidency, who are BOTH crooks by the way….after looking into it I still can’t come up with a definitive answer.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but how much control over the USA do these men actually have? Probably less than most people think in my opinion.

Can you prove Joe Biden is a crook? Because if so you should tell the Republicans, as they've been trying to impeach him for months now without being able to provide any evidence 🙃

Anyway, this is worrying:

Trump supporters are using AI to create images showing Trump mingling with black voters.

Trump is back on the ballot in Colorado after the Supreme Coour overturned the original decision to remove him.

Ok, let's have some details shall we
One, the Biden is outraising the Trump campaign. A lot of Trump campaign money is being used to pay his legal bills.
Two, Haley has just beaten Trump by 30 points in the Washington Primary. That may not mean much in the race for the nomination, but it shows Trump up badly in terms of college educated Republican voters not voting for him. This bears out a lot of the exit polls of Haley voters who say they'll never vote for Trump. Yes, Trump has the support of the shítkickers and the lunatics, but normal conservative voters who understand the threat he poses to democracy will not support him in the numbers he will need to better his last total.
Just because Trump is leading a few polls right now, the closer the election gets, the more likely the choice between the old guy and the fascist will fall on the side of decency.

He’s still spouting lies now

It wasn’t a unanimous decision at all.

Ginger prk
It was also completely expected. If they'd ruled that states could remove candidates from the ballot, all the red states would have immediately moved to remove all Democratic candidates from the ballot.

The big ruling is the one in which Trump claims to have total immunity (which he is not going to win, guaranteed.)

It's not about getting total immunity, it's about delaying the trial.
Scotus don't even have to rule on it if they see fit. They have worded it to be regarding "official duties" and that will lead to a lot of arguments about what official duties includes. In the real world, conspiracy to overthrow the results of an election wouldn't be official, particularly in the light of the numerous court cases he lost when trying to do so. This is not the real world though, it's a partisan Scotus if right wing nut jobs who want to turn the US into some sort of Christian Nationalist caliphate.
Anyway, back in the real world, once a case has heard oral arguments, it is normal for Scotus to issue a judgement within their calendar which ends June 30th I think. They could well decide to not make a judgement and hold it over until their next calendar period, thus preventing a trial until 2025.
What could happen is that they leave it til the deadline and then pass it back to Judge Chutkin. If that happens then she could decide that the 90 days prep she gave both parties doesn't need to be the full amount due to the delays already imposed. She's also told both parties that the electoral calendar will not interfere with her trial and she may have Trump in court on election day itself. Given the above I think Scotus will kick the can down the road until next year.
The establishment, including the media, are bending over backwards to not apply the norms of justice to Trump and it's going to come down to the voters to save America.
