Donald Trump - another irrelevance if he becomes president

Not particularly, I’d rather neither of them won in all honesty.

I’m sure the debates will be a laugh though
There won't be any debates after what happened last time, Trump knows Biden would wipe the floor with him again.

Which is one of the reasons why Trump won't win. It's all well and good holding rallies where your core base attend and lap up every lie you spout, but the media are starting to do a good job of fact checking Trump live on air now (even Fox News and Newsmax, which is really bad for Donald Trump.)

Trump appears still to be favourite with all of the bookies.
Despite how rancid he is, the perception of most Americans is that he’d still be better for their economy.
Given his civil fraud findings and his fines, he’s utterly unfit for public office.
Bookies still disagree 🤷‍♂️

See Biden was at it again last night. Twice referred to Ukraine when he meant to say Gaza
they are both too old to be running imho:

Trump's podium moments just descend into rants..

I sincerely hope he loses but it won’t be like that if he doesn’t. It wasn’t last time and no would be dictator could have had a better excuse for overreach than Covid. Instead he stuck to telling us to drink bleach and left pretty much everything else to the states. He’s a lazy narcissist. Like Johnson only more so. It’s the lazy that saves us.
If you think Trump will not be worse in a second term then you haven't been paying attention. He and his advisers have been perfectly clear about what they will do if he gets back in, and have published detailed plans for the actions they will take.

As the article below points out:

Trump has been releasing policy papers and videos on what he calls “Agenda 47” for months, and he and his advisers are openly bragging about their radical plans for a second term.

Trump’s Most Unhinged Plans for His Second Term

Here's a list of just some of the things they plan to implement:

Give the president unchecked power over federal agencies

Restore the president’s authority to bypass Congress

Appoint a special prosecutor to ‘go after’ Biden

Use the Justice Department to get revenge on all of his enemies

Expand presidential immunity

Purge the civil service

Install thousands of loyalists throughout the federal government

Fill his Cabinet with people like Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon

Round up, detain, and deport millions of undocumented immigrants

Deploy U.S troops for ‘war’ on southern border

End birthright citizenship

I dare say the 22nd amendment would be in danger as well

Wipe the floor in a debate ?

I think quite the opposite, I’m amazed Biden can run for presidency

Biden is a much, much better debater than Trump.

All Trump can do is spout lies, he literally has no idea about anything to do with policy.
From what I’ve seen Biden can hardly string a sentence together in speeches etc.

Didn’t he not debate last election? I know it was due to Covid

There were supposed to be three Trump/Biden debates but due to COVID the third was cancelled.

The general consensus was Biden won the other two.

If you think Biden is the one who can't string together a coherent sentence, then perhaps you've got the two candidates mixed up.

Trump consistently comes out with totally rambling diatribes that don't even come close to making sense.

Here's a verbatim transcript of part of a speech he made about the Iran nuclear deal in 2015.

"Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT -- good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! But when you're a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right — who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.”

Remember, this was nearly 9 years ago - his level of coherence has quite noticeably not improved in the interim.

It's true that Biden makes frequent verbal gaffes but I have to say that from what I've seen, Trump is just as bad, if not worse.

Here's a list of just some of the things I've noticed from Trump, that seem to be indicative of cognitive decline.

Forgot to sign documents at document-signing ceremonies, multiple times
Walked the wrong way off stage multiple times
Wandered aimlessly around in circles on Whitehouse lawn
Couldn't remember/figure out how to close an umbrella when boarding Air Force One
Repeatedly mixed up names of countries
Couldn't remember when he was married to Marla Maples
Couldn't find the vehicle sitting right in front of him after getting off presidential plane - wandered off down the runway before security brought him back
Mixed up names - confused Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi, Obama and Biden, Viktor Orbán and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
Referred to his own wife as Mercedes, not Melania
Said Biden would take us into World War 2
Couldn't remember basic facts about his sons, including that he had a son with wife Melania Trump
Couldn't remember where his father was born
Repeatedly slurs his words or rambles on incoherently during speeches
Claims to have 'aced' a cognitive test but mental health experts say he mis-remembered the details - no version of the test has a whale in the animal shapes, nor any word list that contains words from the same category such as man & woman

Here’s another whilst trying to boast about how great his lexicon is

“I know words. I have the best words.”

During his recent speech, Trump said that Biden was allowing “millions of people from places unknown” to cross the border illegally. He keyed on those who speak the language of their country of origin. “We have languages coming into our country, nobody that speaks those languages,”
