With Liverpool being in front at the moment, the West Coast trains might get a bit crowded.Prob travel over to Carlisle and then use west coast main line
Or - let's face it - Mags might decide not to bother. With Liverpool being in front at the moment, the West Coast trains might get a bit crowded.
You do know there will probably be a few contemplating a walk down and the country will LOVE them for it.They’ll just March down or go on horseback surely. Or maybe they’ll float down on their own sense of greatness.
They will run down through Sunderland, Hartlepool, Stockton and Eaglescliffe to Northallerton.
Thanks, but not bothering in the end.If you have an LNER account you can book a seat without a ticket if you’re thinking of going Luton @NorthumberlandBoro
Based on the graphic, which shows the diversion missing Durham but including Northallerton, the diversion will be via the Durham Coast Line and the Eaglescliffe - Northallerton Line so it passes through Sunderland but not Middlesbrough. Agree it won’t stop there though. The trains will run down the east coast from Newcastle, but won't stop until York.
Surely they’ll want to stop in Sunderland for breakfast with their friends?Based on the graphic, which shows the diversion missing Durham but including Northallerton, the diversion will be via the Durham Coast Line and the Eaglescliffe - Northallerton Line so it passes through Sunderland but not Middlesbrough.
