Does art and music work well together?

No. Here - probably the biggest guitar forum in the UK: https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/ There have made in the UK and Plug my Stuff sub forums.

Problem I see is that oil can guitars are already niche and decorated ones even more so, which means that the market for such things is probably a lot smaller than if you did similar but with more normal electric and acoustic guitars.
Thank you for the link

I always paint whilst listening to music. They both switch my thoughts off And what happens on the canvas happens usually with no planning. I’d like to share this with you if I may. A guitar teacher had a vision of him meeting up with his favourite composers, Ravel, Mahler and Debussy. I created the image for him but sadly he didn’t like my version of him so I still have it and don’t want to paint over it. I think he was zooming in on the image too closely and forgetting that when it’s on a wall you never get that close to it. I did enjoy playing their music whilst painting it
Is it me or is there a touch of Renoir in picture?

There is a Dutch painting circa 17c in the National with an old woman facing away. She is in black with a white collar.

No matter how hard I try I cannot get a copy. I looked at their site and I can't find it.

I could stand and look at it for hours.

Music to it I would say John Williams with a Spanish guitar solo.

Do you know what it’s called? There is more than one their site

I don't, I left after my wife had had enough. It wasn't till later I realised it was stuck in my head.

I don't go to London these days, but the next time I do I will go straight to it. Having fought my way way through the bonus paid collection at the front. I put my contribution on the way out, just to p them off.

I love your art I'm an artist myself(not professionally, but would like to be eventually). Looking into how people turn professional as artist and work as a full time artist its about building a platform and getting a core of supporters and offering things such as tutorials and having a petreon page so people feel like they know you. I'm still trying to figure out how to do all this myself and maybe set up a website. Here is a couple of picture I did recently I like to try new styles of drawing and try for realism. Much prefer your art though! Really wish I could paint.20210819_173531.jpg20210804_170740.jpg20210703_100258.jpg

I think you can safely say you can paint and very well too. You have captured the life in the dogs eyes so beautifully. Keep going with your dreams. Finding those supporters is the hard part but once you have found them you should never take them for granted. Try lots of different mediums and styles too and don’t be afraid to experiment. Good luck
