Does anyone on here play PES 2020?

No you have to watch the you tube clip to change what bits they say.

But yes sometimes you have to install it a few times to get it all.
 
Have you played BAL ( be a legend) I started as pookie at Norwich but I’ve just moved to athletico Madrid.
 
What do you think of things like the first touch? From what I remember you had to press RB or RT to have a decent first touch, i far prefer flicking the right stick in the direction you want to move on FIFA.
 
It's changed a bit from the old ones, the first touch is decent I think, also love the fluidity of the play, don't get me wrong I loved FIFA before I played this PES but konami have done a mega job on this one
 
Another thing for me is realism, I play FIFA on legend and still win most games by 3-4 and i play PES on regular and it's mental how you can go from winning 5-0 one game to hardly getting a kick the next, it's definetly more enjoyable

I dunno, I think I just wasn’t very good at it! I was all for switching back to PES and stuck with it for a few months but in the end just didn’t like it as much as FIFA. I liked the stadium graphics and the far away camera angle it used though, could see a lot more of the pitch.
 
Don't get me wrong mate I love both and FIFA definetly still has a place on my console but for me to buy it straight away again they need to make massive changes, why don't you download PES 2020 lite, it's free and you can see for yourself how good/bad it is

I’ve got the full game, enjoyed the Master League as something different from career mode on FIFA. It’s the first one I’ve bought since 2008 because at the time FIFA’s online play was far superior but up until then I’d always been an ISS and PES player over FIFA.
 
Im In the exact same boat mate, FIFA has definetly lost its way, the actual game hasn't really changed in 5-6 years, it's just a small update every year and a bit of a con
 
Yep thats why I tried switching to PES this year as I'm sick of paying for FIFA every year when it's essentially the same as the last one, they could just do an update with the new players every year and leave the game as it is. I only do career mode and online seasons, never been into FUT.

Tough to begin with for sure. Wages in particular. Make sure you change all your budget settings so that as many outgoings as possible come out of your transfer fee pot not the salary one. Then use things like goal bonuses to keep salaries lower when negotioting.

Use the loan market early on too, you don't pay wages for loan players.

And use your scouts. Players recommended can usually be bought for much less.

Once you get through a couple of seasons some good youth players start coming through both in your youth team and elsewhere. You can snap a lot of these up pretty cheaply.

You soon starting making money. I'm in something like season 12 now and I'm loaded. Think I've got £200m in both budgets going free and some of my players are on silly money.
 
When I did the Master League after about the first year the players coming thru the youth academy had exactly the same name as retired players, I had Assombalonga and Downing but with their ages reset and other players from abroad. Don’t know why it did that but I found it a bit cheap.

Yep, that's just the way master league is. Not realistic obviously but you either embrace it or hate it. I'm obsessed with having the real face models and if you just generated random players after the real ones retire you'd be left without any real player faces, which look crap and all look the same.

I always immediately sell any player who doesn't have their real face and only sign players who do.
 
Just a heads up For those with PES 2020 the official Euro 2020 DLC was released at the weekend - and it’s free so now you can play the tournament that never was. Also now includes wembley and zenit Stadiums.

btw eufa have confirmed this morning that they are to keep the name Euro 2020 even though it’s to be played in 2021.
 
I downloaded it yesterday. I gave up on it after 15 mins because it would only let you play one off games with about 10 teams to choose from. I couldn't find a career mode either like you have on Fifa.

Not sure what you mean one off games ??? And 10 teams and no career mode ??

you have every European nation all the major leagues and can play cups season and in BAL. be a legend still the best career game around. Plus the Euro 2020 can be played as a be a legend as well.
