Love the end bit you wroteI’ve got a flat in Newcastle that with a pair of binoculars you can peer into their Milburn stand/Gallowgate West Corner . Best thing is if they peer back they’ll see my Boro scarf hung over their city

I lived overlooking the Valley in the early 90s.Loved the build up on match day, still got a soft spot for Charlton . Guess they are your local team now SE4Lived in a flat built in to the corner of Brisbane Road for a while with patio doors overlooking the pitch. It was like having your own box on match days.
A toss up between Charlton, Millwall and Palace. Probably more Millwall territory unfortunately, but I'd sooner go watch Dulwich Hamlet.I lived overlooking the Valley in the early 90s.Loved the build up on match day, still got a soft spot for Charlton . Guess they are your local team now SE4

Old school ground! Bet it was a great viewI went to Southampton university and in my first year I was in Hall of Residence called Overdell Court which was literally that. A Birdseye view of the Dell. I took some pics but can’t locate them in my huge photo collection of past memories.
I lived just off Princes Road/Clifton Street and loved seeing the floodlights when I was younger.I was born 1.1 miles from AP and as a nipper before I was big enough to go could hear it and see the magical floodlights haze on a night . You never forget those memories![]()
