I basically work over the road from SaltholmeTurns out it is, but gave a donation anyway so made no difference really. Just had a lovely couple of hours walking around the place though, and although it was a bit nippy there was some great views in the winter sun. Shame the cafe wasn’t open and all the hides etc are closed but the shop was open and was a great way to spend a Sunday morning.
I work at RSPB Hq in Bedfordshire. Blagged a work trip to Saltholme a few years ago. The view from the cafe is superb. Went with a female colleague who didn’t really understand my excitement at seeing the riverside stadiumI basically work over the road from Saltholme

The main building is open and most of the paths are. It’s just the cafe and the hides that are closed. So Uncle, the paths are still open but the building is closed? . I might have a walk around on Monday
To be fair we didn’t see many birds, just a load of Canada Geese and a solitary crow.I hope the noise from the new power plant that's being built there, doesn't scare the birds away.
