Do you still buy newspapers?

I buy the Sunday World if I can find it, and the Northern Echo on Saturdays/Mondays if I’m around

Haven't bought a paper for years - have Times online subscription. When I commuted into London used to always buy a paper. You see none on trains these days

I used to subscribe to the Guardian but I stopped that a few years ago. I still very very rarely buy one if I have a train journey, generally speaking I avoid them like the plague.

Graun and Observer at weekends and occasionally the Non-League Paper. They usually last me through the week. I'm travelling north today on the train so I'll get a Graun. I simply can't get on with reading anything more than a couple of paragraphs on a screen.

I've gone the other way. 95% of my reading is now digital. I also consume more audiobooks than both digital or paper-based.

We buy the Saturday or Sunday Times every other week. Nothing better than having breakfast sat at the dining table with breakfast and coffee, now it is winter (ish) with the wood (or coal) burning fire on. Not same both sat there on our phones browsing the news etc....

It used to be The Guardian and The Independent during the week and on Saturdays and The Observer on Sundays for me. Not anymore. I haven't forgiven The Guardian for all of the lies and smears that they ran about Corbyn. W@nkers.

The only time I buy a newspaper is when I go to a greasy spoon so I can sit there and read it while I'm waiting for my fry up. This used to be one of the little pleasures I had in life and would do once a week.

I would usually buy something crap and cheap like the star the mirror or I, because the broadsheets cost a couple of quid and have far too much in them for me to read.

Trouble is post COVID a fry up costs the thick end of a tenner and like many other things in life I'm getting priced out of it.

Sunday Times and Sunday Sun (sometime the paper boy leaves the Sun on Sunday rag which gets me going to the newsagent to bend his ear! Takes me all week to read it, and the Culture Section help plans the TV viewing.

Only the Sunday times, newspapers aren’t for news anymore but for the quality of the writing, TV guide, crosswords etc

And to see how the other side think

Subscribe to the Gruaniad. Read it every day.
Newsnow Middlesbrough gives me most of my important news.
Switch over to the Toon or Blunderland section if I want a bit of comedy

ONLY THE YORKSHIRE POST and then only on a Saturday, when I remember - General knowledge crossword was a bad habit and the wife likes the Magazine with the Tele progs at the back
