Do you like Chorizo, Buffalo Mozzarella et al - Brexit Benefit

On a serious note the implications of implementing proper checks and standards could be very bad indeed for the UK. Not the multi-millionaire off-shored Brexiteers, just the other 65.5 million.

If I’m denied my chorizo, I’m going rogue, full on terrorist sh/t, a man can only take so much before he snaps 🤬🤬🤬

Yeah. But the music million off shored gang who orchestrated it don't care and, as this board has proven, those that fell for the tax dodging grifters lies are too invested in the culture to admit it is a failure

I do like a bit of Chorizo.

It’s recently been over taken by Nduja though. I can put that stuff on or in most things. Big fan of a little bit in an omelette with a bit of cheese (cheddar or blue)

More like a thick paste than an actual dried sausage, but it’s top stuff. I assume this may be affected too as it’s pork. I’ll draw the line if the Nduja is affected!!

Well there's a surprise. UK delays implementation of checks on imports again. Where's all this control that we're supposed to be taking back? It's almost like it's a terrible idea.

Nduja is fab, but Chorizo is the daddy of spicy sausage

"The delay, which was first reported by the Financial Times, will give companies and port operators more time to prepare for these changes."

Yeah. They've only had seven frickin' years to get ready :D

"The government has made the right decision to postpone. UK food retailers, hospitality businesses and consumers were in line for major disruption because many EU food-producing businesses supplying into the UK are not ready for the new requirements," said Shane Brennan, the chief executive of the Cold Chain Federation.

The additional costs mean some will just not bother exporting to UK anymore, especially those dealing in chorrizzo and buffaloes.

This is what happens when a government lies to its electorate.
