There is a problem here though isn’t there.
The post above seems pretty reasonable and balanced but it gets interpreted as ‘preachy’
That kind of language is pretty divisive and just moves away from what can be a really good discussion.

People disagree about all sorts of things and fight their corner - we rarely call them ‘preachy’.

This topic always involves that kind of response tho - all a bit odd but,… hey ho
I think the 'preachy' comments are essentially a 'defence' which diverts attention away from.....a meat/animal eating person to have to say to themselves ; 'I need to think about this and what i'm actually doing'
People generally prefer the status quo rather than change....change is scary for lots of people so they 'project' that scare outwards and turn it around with a 'don't preach to me'

Behave 😂 it's far simpler than that, people like what they like.
