I've nobody on my ignore list and as has been said earlier, its easy enough to try and ignore posters comments and skip to the next post.
Another point already made has been that it's been a very difficult couple of years and you never really know what someone else is going through; if someone is being rude or generally argumentative it might well be there are other things happening in their lives.
I know for a fact that in the past I've reacted to comments and hurriedly responded in kind and afterwards thought it probably wasn't the best thing to do. I don't think any of us are perfect and sometimes we react and keep something going rather than drawing the line under it and moving on. I've been guilty of that on occassion.
The reality is that I would think that despite the differences between us that we have a lot more in common with each other than we sometimes think. We're all Boro supporters, have mostly all grown up in and around the area and we've all had the rough bumps in the road in our personal and working lives that sometimes make us a little more arguementative and b!tchy at times, or perhaps impatient at others.
I've said it before and I'm happy to say it again that the value of this board and all of its members aren't when we're arguing over the biggest dud we've ever signed, which chippy is the best or even different political views, it's when others are struggling and reach out for help; on that topic I have never seen anything but support for others from people of all footballing and political persuasion.
This board is truly a great place to come to, despite any disagreements.
