Do managers play FM?

Gotta do better than that..

We need players with relationships..

LW Louie Barry - Azaz & Gilbert
RB Max Johnston - Doak & Conway

We need complimentary personality types.. players with commonalities.

Alex Nimley was class on FM. I genuinely thought we'd signed a wonder kid when he came in on loan.

Awful. The only good game he had was against Boro scoring on loan for Coventry. Typical Boro 😂

Clearly clubs use various data bases. You have to say FM is definitely detailed.

I know clubs often track players for years waiting for an opportunity to buy them. I read we'd done that with Forshaw. We had wanted him right through his Everton youth days. I've read similar things about Tom Cannon , he's been on our radar for years.

Carrick plays it all the time. Apparently the other day he got a message on the screen regarding a players injury and his wife was walking by and noticed it.

She asked him what the injury was and he was really blunt with her and just said "We'll have to wait and see".

The original developers of the game (the Collyer brothers) were Everton fans, so they probably gave them access to their early databases

Everton were always really good on a lot of the early versions as well!

They also put themselves in the game as free agents and were rather good as I recall!

Miles Jacobsen - the main Footballer manager guru - talks at length on the Quickly Kevin podcast about professional teams purchasing data from them to use in scouting and recruitment.
