Djiksteel great to have him back

Well, he has come on in leaps and bounds. It seems the recruitment team were correct with him, and Bola too to be fair. I can’t agree it was something Woodgate got right as said above. I am not naive enough to believe his alleged ‘powerpoint’ presentation to the board was real and the signings were his idea. The club provided him with the players not the other way round imho.

Anyway, it is fair to say, the current manager is making them look like top end championship footballers as opposed to lower end division 1 footballers under the previous regime. Hopefully our leader has learned a salutory lesson

I thought his presence seemed to bring out the best in fry and McNair as well.

It’s incredible the impact a settled defence can have isn’t it.

A settled defence is good, but it becomes settled because it's doing well.

I agree AD has been awesome this season and is undoubtedly a player with PL potential.
However, I think it's man management that has brought the best out of him. I recall NW saying he barely said a word when he, NW, first arrived, but now is a leader in the dressing room.

I heard Anton Ferdinand talking about how good NW was at that the other day. Not a player I ever rated, but I don't doubt he's right about this.
I suspect that this is something at which older managers are better than young managers.
