Disposable vapes ban

Sunaks about to ban disposable vapes, which I think is a good idea, people throw them away like confetti, I see so many on the street thrown away like cigarettes.

Probably but the policy is to try and stop non smokers taking vaping up in the first place.

We need to do something to combat the amount of plastic being wasted but my worry now would be that the disposable vapes will now be sold under the counter and we won't know what is in them.

I suppose illegal sales are happening now.

I watched one of those undercover with trading standards shows on TV a few months ago and every shop they visited during filming had dodgy ones under the counter.

That trade will probably continue regardless, but in my experience of working with young people they're getting them from parents, who often don't mind because it's not a cigarette.

I think it’s the right thing to do. Vaping is better than smoking but still highly addictive. Smokers are using vaping to stop smoking the fags and that’s the only reason to use them. All these flavours are made to trap youngsters in an addiction because these companies only care about money.

Might be better than smoking if you smoke the same amount as you vape but people are glued to their vapes and use them constently throughout the day rather than going out for fag breaks every hour.

I am a smoker this for me is bad as I used to buy a 10 pack of cigarettes then they banned them so had to buy 20 the 10 box was all I needed but like all addicts the more I have the more I use. It will be the same with vapes once it was gone I would not get one till I go to pub now I’ll have the machine and juice and vape more
