That was absolutely shocking that. Tav out cold and he played on even letting them score only to back track after the reaction of our players.

If he was out cold he shouldn't have been allowed back on the pitch according to fa protocol, so ref got that wrong too, he just didn't have control of the game and let fouls and time-wasting go unpunished. Thought the Brum lad who caught Tav should have had a red myself, not even a warning by ref
 
Dowie said he saw the replay and tav was caught with the brum players shoulder but it was an accident.
 
If a player suffers what are deemed as “mandatory signs of concussion” (i.e. loss of consciousness, lying motionless for more than five seconds, confusion/disorientation amnesia, vacant look, incoordination, tonic posturing, impact seizure or ataxia), they must be removed from the field of play.

While some sports organisations, e.g. the NFL, demand a player is removed once they’ve shown a mandatory sign, this is not the case in FIFA-sanctioned competition.

However, the FA has instructed its members that if there is a loss of consciousness on the field of play, a player must be removed and not allowed to return. Video replays can be used to clarify events, if available.

If there is any suspicion at all of a concussion, players are supposed to leave the pitch and not return. Furthermore, if they are deemed fit to go home, they are not allowed to drive or be left alone in case of a deterioration of their condition.
 
Well he hit the deck hard and never moved in a prone position for at least 3 mins as I watched him closely and there was absolutely no reaction to what was going on around him.

The reaction of their keeper showed the severity of it.

Tav was caught but it was an accident, but it should have been stopped as he was down. Although he did seem OK soon after. As said above, if he was out cold he shouldnt have been allowed back on. I think we might have felt a bit differently if it was the other way round.

The foul on Johnson was terrible though, two players took him out on the edge of their box and the ref waved play on.

The officials had a poor game. They didn’t let the game flow and didn’t have control.

Glad we’ve got a but if a break now as we looked shagged.

Shout out to Djed Spence. He was our best player tonight. Though Wood did well too after he got over his initial nerves.
