DINO DAY EVENT MOVES INDOORS OVER WEATHER ALERT

Middlesbrough’s Dino Day event is moving indoors on Saturday for safety reasons.

Originally planned for Teessaurus Park, the activity will now take place at the Dorman Museum from 10am – 4pm tomorrow (Saturday, October 15).

Forecasts of high winds mean it will be unsafe for the gazebos and stalls to be built outdoors.

Little ones and their families can still meet the dinosaurs that have proved so popular on two previous Dino Days in Middlesbrough.

There will also be Jurassic craft workshops, a ranger training academy, story time, fossil handling and face painting.

The event is free and parking is available at the museum and around the outskirts of the park.

Refreshments will be available to purchase in Dresser’s Tea Room.
