Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 Tottenham

It's been obvious to me the players are not at all responding to his methods nor do they appear actually to like him. Any games they've been winning have been based on the sheer ability alone of players they have and not as a result of Mourinho's management.

Mourinho's sacking will be the least surprising thing of the season. Whether there's any point in letting him go before the season ends I have no idea, but the players have been unhappy under his reign for some time now. They risk losing some of their greatest assets as a result.

Was the wrong appointment from the beginning. To have gone from Poch to him was stupid. Got themselves in a right ol' pickle now.

Mourinho days are over.
His managerial career at the very top was over years ago. He's simply not good enough any more. Football has changed and evolved and he's still in his old ways.

If they lose the League Cup final, then he's actually managed to spend (net) more than Poch and actually took the team backwards.

An issue with Kane leaving is where could he realistically go. Not sure Real Madrid would be able to afford him unless they clear some of their big earners. PSG wouldn’t be able to if Mbappe and Neymar renew.
Looking at either Man U or Man City. Maybe Liverpool.

For Mourinho modern tactics have just passed him by, apart from maybe Simeone at Atletico no top manager really plays that ultra defensive counter attack style anymore. It’s all about pressing. He would be better suited to a lower top half team like maybe Wolves, these days but don’t think that would interest him.

Just seen the 3rd goal, Spurs players just let him run through and past them to get his shot off. They ain't playing for the manager...

£15m per year, apparently. £30m to sack him and that's without his entourage of coaches and analysts. It was a bizarre appointment at the time and has turned out exactly how most people thought and said it would. Would winning the League Cup make him a more successful manager than Pochettino? I don't think it would.

They should've tried to appoint Allegri instead. Allegri is a pragmatist but a more adaptable coach/manager than Mourinho. He would've got more out of this collection of Tottenham players, IMO.

I read last night there's no clause in his contract neither so if they sack him, they need to pay him up.

Spurs fans didn't want him in the first place. They didn't play the type of football he is accustomed to. Many many people said it was a bizarre appointment and one that has come to bite Levy on the ar$e. And many of their fans on social media of late want him out ASAP.

Going off Hugo Lloris' interview last night too, it sounds like there's trouble in the camp as well.

I can't see this ending well. I don't even think the League Cup will cover the cracks neither.

Harry could be the CF / focal pint NW needs to complete our jigsaw when we go up via the play-offs. He has family in Norton so could be tempted and it would help him settle in after his move from the glitzy smoke to the frozen north. He might even persuade his mate Son to join him! 😉
I'm surprised you haven't suggested we use Britt as bait El .
