Absolutely chuffed for him. He had a really sticky season last year, but he’s played well over 100 games with us and largely done himself proud. I wouldn’t like to say if he’ll still be here by the end of the window, but good luck to him whatever happens. He deserved a moment of glory.

Yeah that really meant something to him. Happy for the lad! Hope it turns out to be a pivotal moment and he kicks on to be the player he could be. So many attributes, it will be a shame if it never really all comes together for him.

I’ve always liked him. Pacey, good passer, good defender and great going forward.
He lacks the talking and leadership skills I think Carrick and the team need but Jesus, with a good pre season training you can see that he’s a player all right.

Always looked very skilfull for a right back. Often linked well with Jones. I prefer him to Smith as a deputy for Ayling.
