Inarguably "race" in terms of differentiating between different groups of humans is nonsense.
We're all bipedal apes, specifically we are the sole surviving species of the genus "homo" we killed and/or shagged the other species Homo Neanderthalenis into extinction.
The concept of "race" is really a hangover from the discredited pseudo science of Eugenics. The term is frequently used and we know what we mean by it but there is no scientific meaning to the term

No it isn't, yes there are different elements to our DNA which dictates/favours certain skin colour, hair texture and colour, etc. But that is not a genetic distinction because we can all breed with other Homo Sapiens whatever their hair types etc.
