Designated Penalty Taker

Interesting last night after Forss won the penalty he grabbed the ball and wouldn't give it to Akpom who clearly fancied it.

Almost shoved the ball up his jumper and threatened to go home for his tea if he didn't take it.

Didn't look like we had a specific, designated penalty taker and it was who grabbed the ball first had a crack. Don't like seeing this as often it doesn't end well.......but no harm done last night thankfully.

I think Chuba is our designated penalty taker, however Forss had won the penalty from virtually nothing last night and was desperate for a goal.

I do think if we need another one (regardless of who wins it), then Chuba will take it (providing he's on the pitch of course)...unless the game is already won.

Aye, it wasn't best placed - to the keepers right and at a good, saveable height. But the sheer power (laces through the ball indeed) meant the keeper had pretty much no chance of saving it.

100%. Loads of clubs do this... Chuba will be our designated penalty taker, unless Forss (and possibly Muniz) win the penalty themselves.

I'd probably have Forss take them based on what I've seen. Seems to have the best shot on him.

However you would hope they practice them in training and pick whoever is best at them based on that (assuming they want to take them).
