I wonder if it is a legal requirement to divulge any grisly pasts and how far back in history would you go. A mate of mine was good friends with the family that bought a house on the south coast which happened to be the scene of a notorious murder and all over the news a few years back. They were not aware of the past history of the property but wondered why it was a bargain in terms of value. Legals or survey report didn’t mention it.It's an interesting thing, would you live in a house which had such a grizzly past ?
My house is 100 years old and so I'm sure people have died in it, but because of the way in which they died we don't see it as an issue. There's no way Mrs Jumpers would live in a "murder house" but if the price was right then I'm not sure it would bother me that much...
