Derby, Oh Dear

nowt wrong with Derby County Football Club - our club and them have had a honest professional relationship going back over 100 years, back to the days of Steve Bloomer - he was the football superstar of his day.

there has been an issue with 1 owner in all of that time - and its more or less resolved now - we move on.

Derby have some decent fans, just like we do - and some 'orrible ones, just like we do..

I think you need to go back and read some of the vile comments that Derby fans posted on Twitter and the Derby supporter's forum to understand why your comment is so wide of the mark.

I've met some great Derby fans, Carmen (Blondie) being one of them but the majority of them let themselves down over the Morris saga.

ive read and seen them all Norman - its just rubbish words and misplaced anger - like i said they also have some 'orrible ones, just like we do we all move on.

out of interest - why do you want a london team to beat a northern (east) team this late afternoon?
I think we will just have to disagree on that.

Regarding wanting Arsenal to win, It is mainly to keep the title race alive and it's been 20 years since Arsenal last won it.

They did indeed and irony is that if they’d listened to Gibson’s comments without prejudice 5 years ago, about the behaviour of Morris, they would never have gotten in the mess they did and would probably be challenging us for a play off spot instead of languishing in league one for another season

The majority? Or just the majority of things your looked for?

A Posh Fan before he knew they are in the Play-Offs.

He will be ecstatic!

The majority of what I read or was linked to this board was in poor taste. I never went searching for negative posts and as I said, I've spent time with some brilliant Derby fans. There was even a radio link where the Wycombe Wanders chairman put his side of the story to it and the BBC radio presenter was still very negative towards both clubs holding Derby to ransom. Due to Derby looking like going to the wall at the time, he couldn't see the wood for the trees and allowed his love for Derby to cloud his judgment of Morris's behaviour.
