Derby loaned £30m

Its quite amusing that they have bent the rules to this extent, spending an absolute fortune in the process. And will still be playing the likes of Wycombe and Rotherham next season

Aren't Derby already getting investigated by the EFL over the inflated stadium sale - Its almost like Derby are taking the Michael with the EFL and the rest of the league.

Throwing loads of cash at the team does not always work though.
Garry Monk expertly showed us that.
It's a lot of money to gamble away.
Especially if it's all debt.

Derby lose 5.9 Million in match day revenue since lockdown:

Financial impact of Coronavirus on Derby County laid bare - 13 Aug 2020
Pride Park hasn't had paying spectators in since early March

The financial cost of Derby County being forced to play behind closed doors has been laid bare by a new report.

All matches at every level in England have been played behind closed doors since football returned following lockdown due to COVID-19, with the Rams last in action at Pride Park coming in early March.

And it is now estimated that some sides in the Championship lost over £6m as a result of having to play without spectators in attendance.

Leeds United top the lot with £6.9m in missed revenue, followed by the Rams (£5.9m) and Fulham, with a cheapest match day ticket reported to be a whopping £45 (£5.1m).

Derby's arch-rivals Nottingham Forest (£5m) and Huddersfield Town (£4.4m) help make up a combined £80m in lost revenue in the Championship.

While at the other end, Luton Town missed out on £1.5m, Wigan Athletic on £1.56m and Brentford on £1.8m.
