This was mentioned in their message board last week I think.

Anyone can set up a Limited Company donuts likely to be someone bring a bit of a chancer and nothing to do with DCFC at all
 
It’s been very recently set up - a reasonable guess is is to trade under that new name once the administration of the old club is complete. I see the business is listed as “banking”

Peter Wallis is listed as sole director. LinkedIn has quite a few with that name and non stand out. The highest profile is the guy that built Camelot’s technology for the lottery.

Just found this on the Derby Telegraph posted on 4th Feb:

“DerbyshireLive understands that it is not connected to a takeover or a development in the club's future, but rather a concerned supporter hoping to preserve the name of the club in the event of liquidation.
The person behind the file is willing to hand over the name of the company and control of it to whoever is behind a phoenix club, should there be the need to set one up if the Rams do go bust.”

Haha. To preserve the name? You could have umpteen names on the derivative of Derby County FC. Bit paranoid that fan I suspect to go to those lengths.

If the above is true, do you think he is chancing his hand at making a few shilling by selling the name to them?

In his first directorship he was a bank manager, now he's a banker...from Wiltshire.
