Derby and Sheff Wed - EFL Investigation

Any clues when the EFL will make a decision on the inquiry on their spending breach?
Would drag them right into relegation battle if it turns out to be a 9 point deduction like Birmingham last time around.

It needs to happen pretty quickly, as like you say, any significant deduction of points is likely to impact the bottom of the league and potentially the relegation places.

It's unfair on everyone to leave this much longer.

The deduction will take place when the EFL know the number of points deducted won’t relegate them. Bottle jobs
It always feels as if this is the correct answer. As I remember in the case of both both QPR and Villa the outcome was determined after they were promoted and out of reach. The was certainly true in the case of QPR where any punishment before the season ended would have meant them missing out.
And I can't remember if they were punished retrospectively after they came back down. So yes it always seems as is the EFL is pretty toothless in these matters.

It'll go into next season if points deduction were given, that's what I woukd think would happen

Plus if we do survive I would want to stay up under our own steem that at the expense of teams losing points

Wouldn’t be surprised if they wait until next season, EFL are shithouses and won’t want to relegate Derby or Sheff Wed.
