Deputy Tory - all going a bit Father Ted

He sounds like one of the blokes in the boozer, just a little more careful not to be as overtly racist as they are.

He's part of a party with a big majority in parliament, only their stupidity is stopping them from doing whatever they want.

'Labour majority in the House of Lords'

It actually makes me feel a little uneasy that this guy was allowed to teach children.

He's obviously incredibly dim, and lacks a huge amount of self awareness, and for me he besmirches the good name of those teachers who are out there making a difference to the lives of children everyday.

I honestly wouldn't trust him to mind my goldfish.

"pesky" FFS.

"We'd have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those pesky Lords".

How much longer do we have to put up with these cretinous cartoon characters for?

Unfortunately, there's still a few Tory MP's left that haven't had their turn as Deputy Chairman.

It always bugs me that the media does not pull up these clowns blatant lies when they are blaming Labour Lords for voting down their bills. There are more Tory Lords(278) than Labour(174) but none of the media seem to mention that.

It's because they don't have a technical majority in the Lords, though in reality they do as many are classed as "cross bench".

His first media outing as tory Deck ChairMan was a scripted train wreck.

Loved the bit where he mistook the elephant for his "the rabbit in the room".

Tories keep on scraping, even after the bottom of the barrel is gone.

Are you sure? Must be topping 200+.......or am I thinking of Education Secretaries 🤔🤔

Possibly, though they need to prequalify as Minister for taking photos of other ministers in front of an empty cabinet and flag first.

Probably 1 or 2 left.

It is a good question as to whether there are any decent competent Tory Mp's.

There must be some good constituency MP's.

On evidence, it looks like we can discount anyone who has been a Government Minister since 2019.

We can also discount any member of the ERG.

It doesn't seem a coincidence to me that those who voted Remain also seem generally more intelligent, thoughtful and decent, so that might be a good place to start. If you voted Leave that doesn't mean I think you are not decent nor generally intelligent by the way, I'm merely commenting on an apparent correlation when looking at the more prominent Tories. Hestletine, Gauke, Clarke, Grieve, Stewart,

Are there any Tory MP's still in Parliament who voted Remain and have remained consistent on that rather than doing a Frost?
