Been sat on my shelf since release day, finally have a spare hour to listen to it. First impressions, pretty good. A lifelong fan who wasn’t a fan of the last two releases. Back on form from what I’m hearing so far.

but initial impressions of the first few tracks is that it's a terrible dirge and a hard listen.

Agree, also have tickets for Twickenham. Last saw them on the Black Celebration Tour @ Whitley Bay Ice Rink back in 86 if I’m correct

My mate lost one of his trainers at that gig and had to either stand one legged propped up against my mate or I, or endure standing on the coverings they’d put on top of the ice.

Career low in my opinion. Embarrassing in places. The media seem to like it, so it must be good eh.
They've been poor since Ultra.

I saw them in Glasgow on the Delta Machine tour. They were ok, no better. Fortunately I went to see Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan the next night at Glasgow ABC and they were fantastic.
