much loved in the music scene, especially the Manchester one.

Her voice is very important to the overall vibe of that album, I mean imagine Movin On Up without her, it would be a bit stale

I was at the Newcastle Academy gig.

They were fantastic as was Andy Wetherall's pre show music, fantastic dub reggae, the floors were vibrating up through my legs.

The venue though is a disgrace. As are pretty much all O2 Academys (at least in my experience)

Yeah, the warm up at Olympia was AW too and it was indeed class. Newcastle academy has its flaws but that gig at the Olympia was an amazing venue, basically a massive wrought iron warehouse. I think there was about 5000+ at that gig. We were stood/jigging about near a guy who must have been about 6 foot 8 and bald so acted as a perfect beacon when any of us had to go for a pee or to the bar, it was easy to find our way back. The light show was out of this world and I have loads of videos on fb but I think the files are too big to post on here
